Being in Costa Rica’s Central Valley, the weather is ideal, averaging temperatures in the mid-70s year-round. Most expats living in San Ramon Costa Rica, make their homes in the hills and mountains outside of town in rural and semi-rural settings.

San Ramon’s climate as well as it’s central location on the Northwest corner of Costa Rica’s Central Valley makes it relatively close in proximity to San Jose, the airport, the pacific coast and the Arenal Volcano in La Fortuna. Being that Costa Rica is one of the most naturally diverse countries on earth, many who have chosen to live and/or purchase real estate in San Ramon Costa Rica have done so in order to have a central “home base” to explore different areas of the country. Given that the hills around San Ramon are some of last highlands before reaching the, you can see the Pacific Ocean, the port town of Puntarenas from many of the neighborhoods.
